The type of antenna needed varies based upon which system is being used. Different antennas are used for different frequencies depending on the distance needed. Transmitting a further distance is accomplished by increasing the gain on the antenna (if allowable by FCC). All MicroTek systems are categorized by distance, and their corresponding part numbers include the necessary antennas for the distance specified.
